Maintain and install access control security and CCTV systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Inspect installation sites, building plans, and manuals to determine materials requirements and that all procedures have been met
Examine systems to locate problems and perform preventative maintenance. Repair or replace equipment as needed. Perform troubleshooting on an ongoing basis.
Maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment.
Repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
Inspect backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features in order to ensure proper functioning, and to diagnose malfunctions.
Keep informed of new products and developments. Coordinate as needed for required replacement parts.
Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.
Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and network related problems encountered on projects.
Complete administrative duties as assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with minimal supervision. A comprehensive knowledge of integrated security systems is required. This position requires periodic drug testing, a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance, some travel will be required, a favorable background check, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
A minimum two years of the experience is preferred. Installing access control, security, and video surveillance systems. Candidates who can program/install Primis (Velocity), Brivo, Lenel S2, is a plus. Experience must have been obtained in the last 5 years of employment.

Discuss unusual or complex problems encountered to the Project Superintendent for input and/or direction.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent prolonged periods of standing, bending, pulling, twisting, reaching, climbing and standing.
