Senior Geologist – Roseville, CA
Trihydro, a top environmental and engineering consulting firm in the country for over 39 years, has an opening for a Senior Geologist in our Roseville, CA office. The selected candidate will assist in providing Trihydro’s clients and customers with effective, responsive, and safe environmental solutions. If you have experience in site investigation and remediation and are a skilled project manager, we encourage you to toss your hat into the ring for consideration.
This position will require report preparation including investigation work plans, remediation work plans and reports. You will lead project teams and coordinate environmental assessments, data analysis, and remediation projects at state and federal regulated RCRA equivalent, RCRA, and voluntary cleanup sites under the California RWQCB and DTSC. This position requires preparation of scopes of work and cost estimates. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for providing oversight of junior personnel for professional mentorship and safety. You will also be responsible for business development and growth of our regional practice, including meeting with clients, attending conferences, and participating in regional trade organizations.

Our team is looking for someone who:
Has a minimum of 10 years of relevant investigation, remediation, and project management experience
Is a licensed P.G. or is actively pursuing professional licensure (e.g., P.E. other)
Knows how to navigate complex environmental programs and projects (including scope, schedule, and budget)
Expertise in a variety of environmental programs (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA)
Approaches challenges proactively with a problem-solving mindset
Produces the highest-quality deliverables, and effectively communicates results/objectives/strategies
Enjoys developing strong client relations
Is interested in hiring, mentoring and managing technical staff
This position requires the following:

The ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal staff and management, and regulatory agencies (verbally and in writing)
Initiative, with the ability to motivate others to complete quality deliverables on schedule

The salary information shown below is a general guideline ONLY. Salaries are based on candidates' experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $120,000 – $200,000
