We are a boutique litigation firm with offices in Marin County and Sacramento that specializes in insurance coverage litigation. We are looking for an associate attorney of any experience level to join our practice. (Recent graduates awaiting California Bar Exam results are encouraged to apply).
This position involves responsibility for handling all stages of litigation, from pleadings through discovery through dispositive motions to trial and, if necessary appeal. We practice mostly in federal court but handle cases throughout state courts in California and Nevada and, occasionally, other states. Experience with insurance coverage is a positive but by no means required. Our practice involves a large amount of legal writing (coverage opinions and motion/appellate briefing).
Salary depends on level of experience and qualifications, likely within a range of $100,000 - $165,000 annually. Benefits include a 401k plan and firm health insurance through Blue Shield. Hours are flexible and the position can be in-person, remote, or hybrid.
