About Us
Are you an experienced family law professional who’s ready for something better?
Tired of toxic firm culture, unrealistic expectations, or feeling like just a number?
At The Tabo Law Firm, we believe your work life should be as meaningful and respectful as the work you do. We're looking for a skilled Family Law Filing Clerk who’s passionate about helping people through difficult transitions—and who values kindness, collaboration, and peace of mind just as much as competence.
About the Role
The Legal Filing Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring that all court filings and case documents are handled accurately and efficiently. This role requires someone with a “can-do, will-do” attitude, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and strong organizational and communication skills. You will assist attorneys by managing, preparing, and tracking legal filings, ensuring deadlines are met, and helping keep both the office and the courts coordinated. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a client-focused approach.
Location: This position is primaryly in person, with some work from home possible.
Who Thrives Here
This is not just another legal job. It’s a great fit for someone who:
Has solid legal skills but values human connection and client care just as much.
Wants to feel trusted and respected in their role—not micromanaged.
Believes that a truly great workplace is one where people look out for each other, share knowledge, and grow together.
Is looking for long-term stability in a firm that genuinely values balance and well-being.
We don’t expect you to be the most experienced person in the room—but we do expect you to care deeply about your clients, communicate clearly, and take initiative to get things done.
What Makes Us Different
We take pride in fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. We don’t believe in pitting employees against one another—instead, we value teamwork, kindness, and a willingness to step up and support each other when needed. Everyone’s contributions are respected, and we strive to create a space where people feel safe asking for help, sharing ideas, and growing together.
We believe the best work happens when people feel trusted and empowered. That means clear communication, mutual respect, and the freedom to approach your work with a sense of ownership. We encourage continuous learning, celebrate small wins, and welcome feedback as a tool for growth—not judgment.
We also deeply respect personal boundaries. We understand the importance of rest and balance, which is why we make every effort not to intrude on your time off. Your vacation is your time, and we want you to fully enjoy it without distractions. Our culture is built on care—for our clients, our work, and each other.
Our mission is simple:
We provide peace of mind through command of the law, communication, and compassion. And we extend that same peace of mind to our team.
What You'll Do
Prepare, review, and file legal documents (both electronic and in-person) with the appropriate courts.
Monitor filing deadlines and ensure a timely submission of all required documents.
Maintain organized case files, ensuring all documents are accurately labeled and accessible in the case management system.
Prepare attorneys for upcoming hearings by gathering the necessary files and documentation.

File and retrieve court documents in compliance with court procedures.
Support office staff with errands, copying, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with court staff, clients, and the public.
What You Bring
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
