Local law firm specializing in Social Security Disability/SSI law seeks full-time Legal Receptionist/Front Office Assistant for immediate hire. The ideal candidate should have great phone etiquette and customer service skills, a positive and pleasant attitude, compassion towards those with disabilities, excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task without micromanagement.

DUTIES:
Greet clients, answer a very busy and fast paced multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, make reminder calls to clients, process mail and faxes, scanning, various forms of data entry (including maintaining spreadsheets), and other various office tasks.
EXPERIENCE:
Some legal or front office/reception experience is preferred. The ideal candidate must have a positive and professional demeanor (even when dealing with extremely difficult clientele), possess attention to detail, and understand the importance of being the “first impression” of the firm when answering calls. The candidate must be punctual, dependable, and be able to work independently. Must be able to type a minimum of 45-50 words per minute and use a wireless telephone headset.
HOURS / COMPENSATION:
This is full-time position (35-40 hours per week) which offers full medical, dental, vision, and 401K with employer matching. Compensation depends on relevant work experience and qualifications of the applicant.
