Civil Litigation Firm seeking a senior paralegal. We value a positive work environment centered around an open flow of communication and adherence to exceptional ethics.
You will be supporting three attorneys. Objectives will include but are not limited to:
· Analysis of initial intakes
· Drafting complaints for attorney review
· Discovery – drafting answers for the handling attorney’s review as well as drafting discovery for the handling attorney’s review to be served on the opposing side
· Assist with Legal Research
· Assist with the initial drafting of motions for the attorney’s review
We are entirely paperless. All documentation is accessed and worked with electronically. Furthermore, we use internet phones. It is imperative the candidate is comfortable with a fully electronic environment.
Our litigated cases move very quickly. This lightning-fast pace means that it is expected the candidate will have the ambition and fortitude necessary to support the attorneys in pushing cases.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
· Solid knowledge of Microsoft office suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote.
· Provide diligent follow-up
· Excellent phone skills
· Sense of urgency
· Attention to detail
· 3+ years of experience
· Paralegal certificate or 1 year or more of law school
