Our small firm in Woodland is seeking a tech-savvy individual with a love of history, politics and research and who doesn't mind answering phones, scanning documents and getting in their steps between government buildings in Downtown Sacramento.
The candidate who meet our needs will be exposed to many different areas of law and will often be called upon to work on several different projects at once. They will divide their time in Downtown Sacramento accessing historic legislative documents and talking with archivists and librarians and at our office in Woodland.
No experience necessary.
Other Requirements:
- Strong communication and grammar skills
- Ability to problem solve and independently find solutions
- AA with 2 years' work experience or a BA/BS degree
- Detail Oriented
- A willingness to work with others
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and walk up to three miles during the work day.
- Access to transportation for last-minute trips between Woodland, Davis and Sacramento
Additional Details:
- Starting pay is DOE
- Hours for full time are 9:00-5:30pm (with a half-hour lunch). Occasional OT may be requested.
