Your path from Legal Assistant to Attorney position

Did you just take the bar exam and await your results? We have a unique opportunity for you, at a non-traditional, entrepreneurial law firm.

As a National law firm with a boutique service culture, we seek a JD graduate who just took, or will take a bar exam, to perform legal assistant duties while learning to be an attorney.

Upon passing the bar, you will be offered an associate attorney position offering a path to grow the practice area you desire. We prefer applicants who want to focus on the practice areas of Business Law / Franchise Law; Intellectual Property, or Wills, Trusts, and Estate Planning. We are a "no litigation / no court room" law firm. If you are targeting litigation, this is not for you.

However, if you tried litigation and found yourself preferring a client-first oriented role where you can work closely with clients, measurably and positively impact their lives and futures in collaboration with a fun, closely knit team - we look forward to reviewing your credentials.

High value skills & talent:

Outstanding interpersonal communication and writing/research skills combined with extremely high moral standards are required. Experience in the above areas (Franchise, Intellectual Property or Estate Planning) or business law is a plus.

Please send a cover letter, resume, and a writing sample. As an attorney this role will evolve into a high percentage bonus model collected from your book of business, with a small base salary. The firm will assist in advertising and supporting the attorney in the practice area of your choice once you have officially stepped into an attorney role.

Only those with a long-term Partnership track focus who are interested in creating and growing their area of law within our law firm should apply.
