Marketing Intern for SevenPonds - End-of-Life Startup (2-Month Temporary Position)

SevenPonds is a mission-driven startup providing resources and support for those navigating terminal illness, end-of-life, and grief. We’re seeking a sharp, organized, and compassionate Marketing Intern to join our team for a 2-month temporary role.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. An interest in death, dying, or grief work is a plus.
What You'll Do:
Work directly with our Founder Suzette Sherman with the marketing preparations for our new website
Assist with marketing campaigns and day-to-day operations
Help plan content for social media, blog, and email outreach
Organize and manage data using spreadsheets
Provide general support to the marketing team
What We're Looking For:
Proficient with Apple computers (macOS)
Skilled with spreadsheets (Google Docs and Spreadsheets)
Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive
Strong communicator with an interest in marketing or business
Comfortable working with sensitive end-of-life topics
Position Details:
Duration: 2 months
Hours: Flexible (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Location: On-site in West Sacramento, near Drake’s: The Barn
Compensation: $18/hour + parking provided
