Sailing School is seeking a Part-Time Social Director/Marketing Director to work directly with the school owner. We are located in the Delta near Isleton. We provide beginning sailing classes in the Delta and advanced classes in the San Francisco Bay. We have 10 sailboats from 22 to 37 feet in our Sailing Club, students and club members can rent our sailboats in the Delts and SF Bay.
Job Description
Work directly with our school owner to help manage our company's marketing, which includes
⢠Creating original content for our monthly newsletter with Constant Contact.
⢠Planning and hosting open houses and marketing events.
⢠Planning and hosting social events at our school.
⢠Arranging and scheduling Sailboat group charters.
⢠Driving traffic to our website with social media.
Qualifications
⢠Excellent writing skills
⢠Sharp critical thinking skills
⢠Functioning multitasker, problem solver
⢠Motivated to learn and gain experience in social media and marketing
⢠Great interpersonal skills, sense of humor, good natured and flexible
⢠Sailing/boating experience and knowledge of the boating community beneficial.
