Assembly Operator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment, assembling parts and components to meet our high-quality standards. This role is crucial to ensuring the performance and safety of our diesel products.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble parts and components according to work instructions and blueprints.
Perform quality checks on assembled components to ensure product specifications are met.
Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery for assembly tasks.
Maintain clean and organized workstations.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Report any production or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments on assembly equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Ability to read and understand work instructions, diagrams, and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of diesel engines and automotive parts is a plus, but not required.
