We are looking for a full-time Equipment Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team in our Production facility.
Working Hours: 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime.
The Equipment Facilities Maintenance Specialist primary responsibilities are maintenance and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment in our plant as assigned. Qualifications include a complete understanding of mechanical and electrical plant equipment and operation with the ability to repair and maintain this equipment in a production environment. This position requires someone with the ability to creatively apply machine modifications and fabrication to make our business successful. Secondary responsibilities of this position include training and assisting machine operators in achieving productive throughput.
Technical Skills:
· Have the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, instrument loop drawings, hydraulic diagrams, piping instrumentation diagrams, and blueprints.
· An understanding of basic electrical principles and three-phase power.
· Experience with motor and motion control.
· An understanding of the general laws of physics as they relate to pneumatics, hydraulics, mass, motion, electrical charge and thermodynamics.
· An understanding of the components used in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical circuits.
· Requires understanding of computer program functionality and software troubleshooting.
· Experience working on VFD and Servo Drives.
· Experience with motion control components such as linear bearing, gears and splines.
· Experience with machine guarding and safety components such as light curtains, laser scanners, safety switches, emergency stops and safety relays.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
