Worker needed for Sacramento area metal fabrication shop. PREVIOUS ARCHITECTURAL SIGN MAKING EXPERIENCE AND/OR CARPENTRY EXPERIENCE WITH WELDING IS A PLUS. Compensation will be based on experience. PART TIME WITH OPPORTUNITY OF GOING TO FULL TIME POSITION.
Job Duties:
Grinding
Welding
Cutting
Clean and organize materials, hand tools, and work area
Skill Sets
Knowledge of basic hand tools
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs, bend, stoop, reach, and stand for an extended period of time
Ability to work proactively, independently and in an environment with others
Good personal and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime, as necessary
Days of Operation:
M-F
Saturday as needed
