QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
Precision Manufacturing is looking for a Quality Control Inspector for the day shift. We are a clean air-conditioned shop. The ideal candidate must possess demonstrated Zeiss CMM programming experience. This person should be capable of high precision work while acting as a team player. A positive attitude, effective communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities are required. This is a drug- and alcohol-free work environment.
PROFICIENT CMM inspection experience is required and a MUST.

POSITION DUTIES:
Performs first article, in-process inspections, final inspections on production parts in compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality management standards.
Completes inspection reports, history logs, and associated paperwork accurately, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
Ensure that all inspection documentation is complete, accurate, and traceable.
Identify opportunities to simplify documentation and improve efficiency without compromising quality.
Provide feedback to manufacturing personnel, product engineering, and purchasing regarding the quality inspection of manufactured parts and adherence to ISO quality standards.
Operates inspection programs for automated CMM equipment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Quality Control Inspector in a precision machine shop, preferably in an ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 certified environment.
Intermediate skills in data analysis and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and quality tracking.
Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills for surface plate inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges including CMM, Optical Comparator.
Intermediate experience with Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) to ensure parts meet design specifications and regulatory standards.
AS9102 FAI experience a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and judgment when working with manufacturing personnel, managers, and professionals at various levels, ensuring quality management systems are upheld.
Ability to clearly communicate inspection results and findings.
Flexibility to adapt to changing inspection priorities based on customer demand.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is performed in the Quality Inspection Area.
The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to perform repetitive motions; to
sit, talk, and/or hear.
Ability to wear proper PPE for machine shop environments such as safety glasses, and ear protection.
Standing on concrete floors for prolonged periods and frequent sitting is required.
Ability to lift to 40 lbs. repeatedly.
