Job Summary:
Accurately expedites shipment of customer orders using documentation provided by the Order Processing department. Is responsible for order preparation, packing, shipment and tracking of all orders.
General Responsibilities:
Prepares shipments to match records provided by Order Processing and verifies accuracy.
Using software, calculate freight or postal rates and records shipment costs and weights.
Keeps records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
Tracks delivery progress of shipments.
Arranges insurance coverage for goods as required.
Directs or participates in package loading to ensure completeness of load and even distribution of weight.
Works with office staff to contact vendors or claims adjustment departments to resolve shipment problems.

Job Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: 2-3 years experience as a shipping clerk
Knowledge of computers, Google Suite and Shipstation required
International Shipping a Plus
Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. occasionally.
Must have reliable transportation.
