Job Duties:
Evaluate jobs on a regular basis to maintain efficient workflow and production procedures
Assess incoming requests and regulate workflow based on urgency
Inspect artwork received from other departments for accuracy
Generate production ready artwork for printing and contour cutting
Instruct employees on installation/application of vinyls and graphic films
Create detailed files and records when processing jobs
Maintain organized storage of job elements in varying production states
Oversee inventory of vinyl, paper, print media, laminate, application tools and various consumable materials
Maintain and operate production equipment:
- Vinyl Plotter
- Vinyl Roll Printer
- Laminator
- Trimmer
Weeding and application of vinyl using various techniques and equipment
Cultivate a clean working environment
Regular interdepartmental communication to ensure preferred methods when supplying produced materials or additional instructional devices
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have experience with vinyl materials and equipment mentioned above
Proficient with Adobe CC, with an emphasis using Illustrator
Familiar with FlexiSign, Gerber Omega, Onix, Wasatch, and/or other sign making programs
Read and comprehend construction plans
Excellent with reading and spelling
Ability to work proactively, independently and in a team environment
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Ability to work a flexible schedule and lots of overtime, as necessary
Days of Operation:
M-F
Saturday as needed
