Our company is seeking an individual to fill our front desk Director of First Impressions position. This position serves customers by greeting and assisting them and provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
Open Position: Director of First Impressions
Salary: $16-$18 per hour - depending on experience
Hours per week: 25 (5 hours per day, Monday - Friday)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answer phones and route calls to specific people. Take and relay messages.
Answer inquiries about membership
Provide member referrals
Assist with processing new memberships
Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable
Maintain internal office calendar of events, meetings, and use of the meeting room
Create Zoom links and send out to appropriate people
Ensure office area is tidy
Coordinate mail flow in and out of office
Collect and distribute parcels and other mail
Maintain incoming email and faxes and respond accordingly
Perform basic filing and clerical duties
Assist with scheduling/posting social media calendar
Assist in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
Assist in preparation and coordination of Chamber events
Assist in preparation for and scheduling of committee meetings
Assist the Leadership Staff regularly with duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
Excellent computer navigation skills with knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Publisher)
Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat a plus
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must have reliable means of transportation
Professional, self-starter who works well independently and as a team
Availability between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday-Friday (we will have some flexibility when creating your work schedule)
Possess excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and dedication to complete projects in a timely manner
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them
Friendly and approachable disposition, with attention to customer service
