Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Field Technician to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily support services for various projects, including labor tasks, utilization of hand tools, and limited operation of small equipment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform labor tasks such as lifting and carrying objects required for projects.
Utilize hand tools and operate small equipment, including skid steers, water trucks, sweepers, forklifts, and small loaders.
Ensure accurate completion of all job-specific paperwork, including Timesheets, Daily Work Orders, and Safety Meeting Forms.
Adhere to company and client safety standards at all times.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
o years of experience in related labor or general construction work.
HAZWOPER certification is required.
Completion of basic construction safety courses as outlined in the AIS training matrix.
Ability to operate basic industrial equipment, hand tools, and small machinery.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions effectively.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks such as bending, stooping, and shoveling.
Must maintain a clean-shaven appearance for immediate use of respirators as required.
