Position: Home Inspector (Full-Time, As-Needed)

Job Summary: EGA Inspection is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Home Inspector to join our dynamic and expanding team. As a Home Inspector, you will play a crucial role in evaluating residential properties, ensuring their condition, safety, and compliance. Your responsibilities will include thorough inspections of structural components, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC, pools, lateral line sewers, pre-drywall installations, and mold air quality assessments. Your detailed reports will provide critical insights for home buyers and sellers, empowering them to make informed decisions.

Location:Based in Rocklin, CA – Serving the greater Sacramento area.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE ONLY

Alignment with our Mission, Vision, Values & Culture (MVVC).

Verified residential inspection experience.

InterNACHI CPI or CMI Certification.

Successful completion of the NHIE (National Home Inspector Exam).

IAC2 Certified

Must be willing to learn and continue to grow.

Professional, courteous, and helpful demeanor.

Reliable transportation to and from inspection sites.

Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

FAA107 Drone Certification

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties, including exteriors, interiors, roofs, foundations, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Perform additional inspections such as pools, lateral line sewers, pre-drywall, and mold air quality assessments.

Identify and document potential issues or defects, including structural damage, code violations, and safety hazards.

Provide same-day reports with clear photos and actionable recommendations.

Stay informed on building codes, industry regulations, and best practices.

Maintain CEUs through regular monthly training.

Collaborate with real estate agents, homeowners, and other stakeholders.

Deliver exceptional customer service, clearly explaining findings and addressing questions.

Schedule:

On-call 5 days per week, including one weekend day. 1-2 Inspections a day, with ancillary services. This is an as-needed position.

Compensation: $40,000 to $95,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
