We are looking for motivated individual to be responsible for running a profitable and efficient parts department. They will accomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, and merchandising.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the parts department and ensure efficient operation
Work with the service manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs
Manage inventory and stock levels to meet customer demands
Discuss current activities and problems in order to develop strategies for more efficient operation
Maintain & ensure maximum customer satisfaction
Handle customer complaints immediately and proficiently
Establish and enforce a pricing policy that balances volume, customer loyalty, and the cost of doing business
Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence
Process parts orders from customers and internal departments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS::
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years of experience in an automotive / powersports industry
Excellent communication skills
Sales or retail experience
Dealership experience is preferred
Must be able to work Saturdays
Able to work around chemicals including, but not limited to, gas, battery acid, parts cleaners, degreasers, etc.
