This is a fairly physical position. Must enjoy working and walking outdoors in our summer weather
Must be able to periodically lift or move up to 40 lbs.
Ability to follow instructions and work as a team or independently.
Good sense of direction and ability to read maps and follow directions.
This is a driving position. A DMV record will be requested upon hiring.
Driving is part of the job 50-150 miles per day including farm roads. Choice of using company truck or your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
This is a seasonal position, ideal for college students to learn more about agriculture or for a semi-retired person that like to keep busy.
20-40 hrs/week April - September. Flexible work schedule, but full work days required. Possibility to continue with reduced schedule in the fall.
