Currently seeking a Operations Manager for fast paced security guard company which provides services to commercial, residential, construction, special events, convention industries and more.

The Operations Manager is accountable for the overall management of all security guards and related properties in a manner that consistently adds value to the company and overall business plan. Candidates are required to have a minimum of Two (2) years progressive experience as a Operations Manager is the security field. Candidates must have a clean appearance, no visible tattoo's and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, reference check and background check.

The Operations Manager is responsible for the management, employee development and engagement of all personnel in the assigned client sites, as well as operational support for the business to include scheduling, payroll, compliance, post order development and performance metrics tracking, and employee recruiting, discipline, recognition, training and inspections. The Operations Manager is expected to build upon a culture of employee engagement and set the example for all employee’s commitment to our company values.

Facilitate awareness, participation and communications around existing and new services.

Assist in the development and execution of related metrics that provide an overall measure of the effectiveness of the services and applicable risk reduction to individual sites managed and the company as a whole.

Ability to provide leadership and direction, set clear goals, guidelines and expectations to your team on a consistent basis.

Ability to develop and implement procedures, processes, and determine company priorities.

Develop new solutions, and make process enhancements.

Highly skilled in supervising; including planning and assigning work according to the nature of the job to be accomplished, the capabilities of subordinates, available resources, and controlling work through periodic reviews.

Ability to identify and resolve conflict between reporting staff as needed.

Skilled at facilitating team meetings; be prepared, practice active listening and capture notes and action items accurately during meetings.

Skilled at mentoring team members through annual performance appraisals and professional development plans of all members of the team including their training needs.

Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with superiors, subordinates, peers and other agencies and the public.

Ability to work independently and as a team.

Staff recruiting, orientation and provide adequate and thorough training.

Strong, strategic and interpersonal skills.

Ability to critically think and provide immediate resolution options.

Ensure all Business licenses are current.

Ensure Employee files are current and organized.

Provide Route support.

Review reports and make grammatical corrections daily and promptly.

Fill in or facilitate coverage for employee no call/no shows and call outs.

Sales and Marketing.

Provide end of week progress reports to CFO diligently, consistently and without reminder.
