HERE'S AN EXAMPLE OF HOW THE NUMBERS WORK OUT:
Let's say you've worked 20 live TV transfers (over a 4 day period) and close 7, which is average.
Let's say the monthly premium is $65 which is average.
The live TV transfers are $69 each (and they're tax deductible) and they're just seconds old when you talk with them. We also have fresh exclusive social media TV leads that are only $27 each used for outbound dialing.
HERE'S WHAT WE'D MAKE:
$65 x 7 sales x 12 months x 90% commission x 60% advance = $2948.40 in commissions earned.
AND OUR TRUE PROFIT WOULD BE:
$2948.40 - $1380.00 (20 leads x $69 each) = $1568.40. And that's in 4 days with a nice 3 day weekend to enjoy. You could do this 6 days instead of 4 days if you were ambitious.
And since you get 60% of your commission advanced you'll get the other 40% paid out evenly over months 8-12 after charge backs.
And the $1380 lead investment is tax deductible. Most agents will have a $40k to $60k tax deduction from their lead investment.
All of our policies include the casket locked in at $2000 for life, (the funeral homes charge about $5000 to $6000 for the same casket and that's at today's prices), discounts on vaults, monuments, urns, diabetic supplies, hearing aids, 24 hour telehealth, one free hearing exam each year, and even negotiates the price of the funeral on behalf of the family to save them money. When Ms. Jones hears about all of these extras that come with her policy it gives you a much, much higher closing % than agents with other carriers because the other carriers simply don't have this with their policies like we do.
