Taylor Freezers of California is the California distributor of Taylor soft serve, frozen yogurt, shake, ice cream, frozen carbonated beverage, and clam shell grill equipment. We also service and repair other lines of Commercial Foodservice Equipment throughout northern California. We are headquartered in Commerce and maintain branch offices in Sacramento, South San Francisco, San Diego, and Las Vegas, Nevada.
We are looking for a qualified, customer oriented, Master Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain the entire line of Taylor equipment as well as other types of specialty foodservice equipment in our Sacramento branch office. This position will work with and supervise two other in-house technicians and requires good communications and critical thinking skills, the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, maintain detailed records, and assist in maintaining incoming and outgoing warehouse inventory. The ability to drive a forklift is also necessary although training can be provided.
Candidates should be EPA certified, have a minimum of 4 years experience servicing hot and cold commercial food service equipment. Good electrical and plumbing knowledge is required along with a clean driving record and superior customer skills. Any factory training and certification is a plus as well as bi-lingual ability in Spanish. Physical requirements are the ability to lift up to50 lbs, identify sounds clearly, vision correctable to 20/40, and successful completion of post hire physical, drug test, and background check.
