Meter Technician & Small Volume Prover Operator
Looking for a candidate with mechanical aptitude who likes to get their hands dirty. Come to work at a company that has been around for over 60 years.
Duties:
-Operate small volume prover to test and certify flow meters for crude oil and refined fuel pipelines.
-Test, repair & calibrate flow monitoring & control instrumentation.
-Perform installations & start-ups.
This can grow into a major opportunity for the right person. If you have the desire to learn we will teach you all you need to know – Mechanical and Electronics as well as Instrumentation.
Work is both in Shop and Field
Requirements:
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. The more you learn the higher you can go and the higher the pay scale will become.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Clean DMV
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check as well as periodic drug testing.
Must have knowledge and capability to use hand tools and power tools.
A little electrical knowledge is also helpful but not required as we will train.
As part of the job, you will need to take mandatory safety classes and be able to obtain:
-Weights & Measures Certification, OSHA 10 Certification, RSO Card, and TWIC Card Certification as necessary.
-All certifications are paid for by Company.
This position may also require some travel for projects but usually never more than a few days.
