Need an experienced recording engender who wants to moonlight and earn some extra cash couching/tutoring/ helping me get set up with PreSonus Studio 6 professional daw. Need help from set up, all the way through to mastering and promoting finished product online. I have a fader port 16 and a presonus Studio 1810 Interface.
I'm familiar with Logic Pro and hopefully you are too! But not a deal breaker if you are not. Can't decide which daw to use truthfully, so open to both. But since I have the Fader port 16, might as well try and get things hooked up with Studio One. I like Logic so if you wanna persuade me to roll with that it won't take much.
ME: I am a talented singer songwriter who needs to get his home studio set up. Fuck the learning curve man. I'm too old and way too busy for that. I need a pro who can get in there and help me get things going fast. Looking to get my "favorite" presets set up and stored so I can record fast and consistently
What Genre? Folk/Country/Pop. Think John Denver's brother Billy Joel whose lover is Elton John, whose favorite band is the Eagles, whose lead singer is Cat Stevens whose lead guitarist is Jim Crochi, whose producer is Quincy Jones. Okay. That about sums it up.
What I need: Need Killer acoustic Guitars and mic set ups, Rich, deep and warm Steve Perry vocal effects and processors, classic Joel and Elton John keys, Quincy Jones strings and a rich fat all encompassing base. Need a drummer but something/someone who can do light percussion not AC/DC beat maniacs.
You: Talented, fast, experienced, not a dick or ego maniac, a good teacher, somewhat patient, experienced in remote computer sessions (not a deal breaker, but wouldn't that be nice?) willing/able to drive to Rocklin, CA to set things up. Then I can come to you for classes, or call you for a remote session if possiblenot required, but a bonus.
