The General Superintendent overseeing healthcare projects will ideally have 3 or more years of experience with hospital projects/HCAi. Alongside the Project Manager, this person is ultimately responsible for the overall success of multiple projects. This candidate must have a team mentality, with the ability to provide the leadership necessary to successfully deliver HCAi projects. Our General Superintendents build relationships with our clients, our internal team, subcontractors, vendors, and all other project stakeholders. The General Superintendent provides valuable input that will assist the project team with developing budgets and change orders, as well as the project schedule. The General Superintendent will keep the Project Manager informed of the project status at all times, develop and manage 3-week look ahead schedules, provide updates at meetings, and navigate day-to-day tasks and challenges in the field to ensure all projects are successful. All General Superintendents must have high regard for patient safety and infection control and enforcing jobsite safety. Our General Superintendents provide training, and leadership for our company. Daily tasks include scheduling and managing Streamline manpower, scheduling deliveries of equipment and tools, and scheduling and managing subcontractors. As a General Superintendent your duties can/may include performing physical work as needed to meet schedules. The General Superintendent must strive for the highest quality of workmanship from the entire team, zero failed inspections, and zero punch list items on every project.

POSITION SUMMARY
The General Superintendent is responsible for coordinating highly complex activities for the implementation, and maintenance of Company small projects. The General Superintendent will work with the Small Project Manager in coordination and completing multiple projects at many individual sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain communication with field personnel
- Manage field personnel at multiple sites and projects
- Manage sub-contractors at multiple sites and projects
- Gather and provide necessary equipment and materials for each project
- Present and explain reports, or findings to clients
- Implement policies, standards, and procedures for work
- Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing timecards, enforcing rules, or purchasing of materials or services
- Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change; manage the process of innovative change effectively
- Apply company methodology, enforce standards, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion of finished projects
- Communicate relevant project information to appropriate parties, resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
- Provide professional guidance to assist co-workers in career; inspire co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence
- Participate in development opportunities including training
- Team management: utilize team members to fullest potential, encourage collaboration, mitigate conflict, foster positive communication, acknowledgement and appreciation
- Track performance management, and share evaluation with team members when appropriate
- Perform project field walks with clients for the purpose of estimating
- Perform construction tasks as needed to meet schedules or deadlines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
Prior management experience of at least 3 years
Pleasant and confident demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients
Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English
Efficient and well organized
Proficiency with calendar systems
Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Prior experience and travel are required for this position
