Position Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and motivated solar installers with solar panel installation experience. This position provides hands-on training and a pathway to a rewarding career in the renewable energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
2 years minimum experience or more. Must be experienced in all phases of residential solar installations from the roof work through wiring up the inverters/combiners etc.
Generator and or battery install experience is a plus.
Must be self motivated and able to act as a lead and work with an experienced apprentice or alone.
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
Must have a transportation to our shop in Penryn
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Participate in training sessions to develop a comprehensive understanding of solar energy systems, tools, and techniques.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
A strong interest in renewable energy and solar technology.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in electrical or renewable energy systems is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Must be willing to lift and install solar panels.
Good physical fitness and ability to work in various outdoor conditions, including at heights and on rooftops.
Willingness to work in confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
