Specialty Equipment Manufacturer/Supplier seeking service minded tech/apprentice for West Sacramento location.
Description of Duties:
- Assist with basic mechanical equipment testing, repair and maintenance tasks. Provide labor support as directed.
- Assist with basic construction and fabrication of structures or equipment.
- Operate shop tools and heavy equipment as needed under direct supervision.
- Continuously demonstrate aptitude and ability to become a heavy equipment tech.
- Required to operate vehicles, including cars, trucks, forklifts and tracked equipment with training.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Complete all required training.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Possess a valid driver's license
Clean DMV record
Ability to pass drug test and back ground check
Excellent communications skills
Reliable and on time
Have a positive attitude and be self motivated
Must be able to lift over 50lbs
