Sacramento area based, commercial electrical contracting company looking to hire a Project Assistant/Engineer.
Job Details:
Experience drafting with AutoCAD or Revit is a huge plus
Project Administration and assistance to Project Managers and Foreman
Create manage and track submittals in Procore
Upload plans and track changes in Procore
Write and track RFI in Procore
Upload specifications and track changes in Procore
Type up panel schedules
Fill out order forms for Phenolic Tags from plans
Fill in Copper Feeder order forms from One-line drawings
Count lights and devices
Attend meetings with clients, and work with other personnel, including Project Managers, Estimators,
Electrical Supervisors and Foreman
Successful communications with clients, department members, Electrical Superintendents and Foremen, and
other employees
Other experience that would add benefit but are not necessary:
o Complete lighting analysis and selection of fixtures
o Complete load analysis of complex jobs and complete panel schedules
o Identify cost effective or cost saving design items
o Assist design/build
o Write job specifications
o Write and price design-build proposals
o Complete complex plans based upon input from design-build sales staff, and personal knowledge, utilizing
department standards
o Designs including building power systems, lighting design, load calculations, signal systems
telecommunications to meet electrical code requirements, and budget requirements
