Schedule: 8 hr shift, rotating weekends, must be willing to travel, sometimes overnight
HVAC: 5 years (Required)
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Install and commission control devises, sensors, actuators, and other components of building automation systems.
- Conduct system integration and ensure seamless communication between various BACnet devises and subsystems
- Perform electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration duties as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly
- Mentor junior technicians and provide on-the-job training
Skills:
- Proficiency in HVAC/R systems
- Experience in service technician roles
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, control sequences, and building automation protocols.
- Ability to braze and plumb effectively
- Skilled in appliance repair and refrigeration techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for diagnosing and repairing HVAC issues
- Previous experience as a mechanic or field service technician
