Growing local company has immediate openings for part-time Sewing Machine Operators / Seamstress. We are willing to train in some areas if the individual is the right fit for the team.
Job Requirements:
Experience with walking foot machines
Ability to interpret cut sheets, patterns and measurements
Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
Repetitive use of hands and arms
Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods of time
Clear communication skills
Problem solving skills
Basic math and measurement skills
Fabricating parts from drawings, patterns and free hand fitting
Cutting and sewing of various fabrics including upholstery material, vinyl and canvas
Ability to measure, assemble and sew raw fabric pieces into a finished product
Attention to detail a must
Qualities Desired:

Willing to learn
Ability to take direction and understand verbal English instruction
Self starter with the ability to problem solve
Flexible work schedule if desired.
