NOW HIRING Local established and busy company with extensive jobs in restoration of interior and exterior residential homes. We also focus on repairs, residential additions, balcony repairs, dry rot / termite damage repairs, foundation repairs, and leak damage restorations in Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, El Dorado, and San Joaquin Counties California. We are looking for a motivated, highly skilled, responsible carpenter with over 5 years of experience in both new construction and remodeling projects.
The Type of work we do:
1. Dry and Termite damage repairs to siding, window trim, roof fascia, rafter replacement, wood siding, window retrofits and replacements.
2. Deck and balcony replacements
3. Remodel bath floors, tub surrounds, tile showers, kitchen remodels
4. Replace, repair, and renovate residential foundations
5. Install fences, build patio covers, and wood trellises
6. Repair drywall and stucco damage
7. Repair structural wood members underneath and inside houses
Qualifications and Skill:
Strong carpentry skills, with a solid understanding of foundations, framing, finish carpentry, light plumbing, & electrical skills
Understand architecture plans, specifications and construction schedules,
Organize and structure work, as well as, effectively communicate both in written and verbal formats,
Strong time management skills, including accurate tracking of hours, receipts, and other paperwork,
A sense of work ownership, quality and excellent customer service,
Maintain safe work habits and a safe and clean jobsite
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license,
Tools specific to the trade,
Work well with diverse crews in a team environment and individually with minimal instruction;
Live within easy driving distance to Sacramento County, California
Experience in building construction with more than 5 years post frame construction experience.
Standard weight lifting requirements - 50 pounds, with occasional lifting or crouching.
Understand proper use and maintenance of construction tools.
Valid California Driver's License.
Clean Driving Record & criminal record.'
