Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Handyman/Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual should have a “can-do” attitude and the ability to handle a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks. The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, works efficiently, and can troubleshoot and fix a range of issues from carpentry and painting to plumbing and electrical.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties
Handle carpentry, drywall patching, painting, caulking, and basic plumbing or electrical repairs
Inspect and diagnose issues to determine the best solution
Assist with remodels, punch lists, and small construction projects
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding work performed and materials needed
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in general maintenance, construction, or a handyman role
Strong knowledge of basic carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and electrical work
Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize tasks, and work independently
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Basic tools required (company can provide specialized tools as needed)
Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in high-quality workmanship
Preferred Skills (a plus):
Experience in light framing, finish carpentry, or minor concrete work
Familiarity with property management maintenance or punch-list work
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
