Small Contractor with lots of jobs looking for:
Solar Service Technician / Solar Installer. Must have a broad range of construction trade skills, roofing knowledge, conduit skills, electrical proficiency with battery knowledge, some framing and drywall, use of levels, tape measure, power tools, chalk lines, ability to read plans and build to plan set designs, understand NEC Code compliance, willingness to perform mundane tasks if needed, run permits and manage inspections on occasions.
Prefer you have your own truck ( mid size or full size) for occasional service / site inspection days ( mileage paid). Have own tools. Understand broad range of solar products. Well versed in safety procedures also known as use of PPE.
This position requires the ability to work in extreme environments. Must be comfortable working on steep roofs, heights up to 3 stories, climb tall ladders to access roofs, have technical skills to perform site audits, bend, kneel, lift objects of 50lbs above your chest, use power drills, work in extreme temperatures from 10-105 degrees. Work long hours to complete projects.
Position requires clear communication with customers and supervisor, the ability to resource technical assistance when in doubt, make notes, follow instructions and processes to ensure a precise level of quality.
Pay is commensurate with experience. Bonuses paid occasionally for reward of shared profitability.
If certified in a trade or licensed a potential partnership or path to partnership may be available over time.
