Capital West, The Manufactured Home Specialists is hiring now for a January 2026 start. Working Foreman to oversee all aspects of construction and remodeling of homes located in manufactured home parks in the greater Sacramento area.
Must have 5 years experience in manufactured home repairs/service consisting of set-up/tear downs/repairs, roofing, awnings, siding skirting, windows, doors, and decks. Must have clean driving record.
This role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably while delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The Foreman coordinates communication among customers, insurance adjusters, estimators, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution from estimate to final walk-through.
Job Duties Include:
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Obtain required permits, schedule inspections, and ensure compliance with all local building codes and safety standards.
Manage subcontractors, field crews, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.
Conduct regular/daily site visits to verify quality, safety, and progress.
Act as the main point of contact for homeowners, property managers, and insurance representatives.
Communicate clearly with clients throughout the project lifecycle regarding schedules, changes, and progress updates.
Review and approve subcontractor bids, change orders, and vendor invoices.
Maintain detailed project files, photos, job logs, and communication records.
Supervise field staff and subs to ensure quality of workmanship.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes for manufactured homes.
Proficiency with project management software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
Physical and Work Environment:
Regular site visits in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and climb ladders, and crawl under homes to inspect damage.
