CURRENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN, WHO HAS A VARIETY OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL SETS TO BRING. POWERTRAIN R&R, MEDIUM DUTY VEHICLES, CLUTCHES, DASH-OUT JOBS, ETC.
Duties
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles, with a focus on all makes all models
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any potential issues or safety concerns
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Align and balance wheels to ensure proper vehicle handling and performance
- Install, repair, and replace automotive parts and components as needed
- Keep accurate records of all repairs, services, and maintenance performed
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or service technician in a dealership or automotive repair shop setting
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and repair automotive issues
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain, transmission, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and electrical systems
- Familiarity with diesel powered vehicles is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members
This is a large automotive repair facility, located in a busy area of Rancho Cordova, with new housing developments being constructed just down the road. Expect a fast paced environment at times, with customer satisfaction and quality workmanship being our main focuses. We work on anything from economy cars, to big rigs, even agricultural equipment.
We are looking for an experienced automotive technician, who preferably has more than a few years of experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
