Humboldt Pacific, LLC is a fuel transport company that safely transports bulk fuel (Jet A, JP8, AVGAS & Kerosene) and other petroleum commodities throughout California, Nevada and Oregon. Our expertise is in the transportation of bulk aviation fuels, however we also transport a variety of other petroleum-based products such as Jet Fuel, Diesel Fuel, Bunker Fuel, and Bulk Oils to commercial and private airports, aviation emergency response, agriculture and logging aviation and military bases.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Fuel Tanker Driver responsibilities include safe product handling, product quality assurance, and product transportation consistent with regulatory compliance and Company operating goals. The Petroleum Product Tanker Driver is responsible for the pick-up and the drop-off of a specified liquid or gas. The driver must keep the truck properly maintained and must follow all safe driving regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Transports deliveries in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company policy and applicable State & Federal regulations.
Applies knowledge and abilities to safely load and unload deliveries according to the capacity of the load and content description.
Processes and maintains proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation and submits in a timely manner.
Maintains communication with dispatch as to any delays or issues during route/shift.
Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image.
Performs a daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection checklist, informing maintenance personnel of any issues.
Maintains a daily, legible DOT log book and submits log books as required by company policy.
Maintains vehicle in a neat and tidy manner.
Reports all accidents/damages/malfunctions immediately to management as per company policy and procedure.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
1. Valid Class A CDL with Tank and Haz Mat Endorsement in state of residence
2. TWIC Card
3. Minimum of 24 months commercial driving experience
4. No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3 year period
5. No more than 2 accidents within a 3 year period
6. No felony convictions
7. No DUIs or DWIs within the last seven years
8. No positive or refused drug or alcohol tests
9. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis without restrictions
10. DOT Drug Screening required
11. Current Medical Examiner's Certificate
12. 23 Years of age or older
Skills:
1. Good oral & written communication skills
2. Must be able to speak, read and write in English in order to keep an accurate log book, inspection reports, maintenance reports, and accident/incident reports
3. Customer Service oriented
4. Strong time-management skills must be punctual and able to meet deadlines
5. Good organizational skills
6. Attentive to detail and able to maintain records per described requirements
7. Dependability and Company loyalty required
8. Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to perform repetitive motion activities throughout the day
2. Requires getting into and out of the truck frequently
3. Must be able to lift and/or move 60 lbs on a regular basis.
4. Must be able to work 10-12 hours per day, 5 days a week
5. Drug and Alcohol screening required
6. Full background check required
