Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join us in supporting operations with hauling, loading, and transporting equipment and materials.
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced CDL Driver to operate a manual transmission (stick shift) dump truck. The role includes hauling materials, loading/unloading construction equipment, and supporting daily field operations. The right candidate will be safety-minded, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with our crews to keep projects moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a tandem axle dump truck with manual transmission
Haul and deliver aggregate, asphalt, soil, and other construction materials
Transport and load/unload light and heavy construction equipment as needed
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, and related documentation
Ensure proper securement of loads in compliance with safety standards
Assist with job site needs, including staging materials and supporting crews when required
Follow all safety policies, traffic laws, and company procedures
Requirements
Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (construction hauling preferred)
Ability to drive a manual/13-speed stick shift transmission
Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service, and safety compliance
Ability to load/unload and secure equipment and materials safely
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to teamwork
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical exam
Preferred Qualifications
Experience hauling and operating dump trucks in construction environments
Familiarity with heavy civil construction projects
Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment checks and troubleshooting
