At JAK Logistics, we are seeking two full time professional Class A team drivers with doubles endorsement for our dedicated three a half day on, three and a half day off(during non winter months, then it is 4/3), Chicago, Illinois run leaving from Sacramento on Saturday morning straight through to Chicago then returning to Sacramento on Tuesday before noon. If you're a steering wheel holder or a crybaby, skip this ad. When the weather is bad, we run alternate routing. This is not a local position, this is a TEAM position. No owner operators. Driver must have minimum one year of tractor trailer experience within the last three years or three years of driving experience within the last five years. First come, first serve for this run. Pay:
Already a FedEx approved driver and still active in the system? A sign on bonus is available.
Weekly pay with direct deposit paid every Friday.
Detention time paid when there is detention time.

FedEx approved active drivers/drivers currently working for FedEx are strongly preferred. Otherwise qualified candidates will be considered.
Requirements:
Doubles / Triples endorsement required. No Hazmat required.
Minimum of 1 year of tractor trailer experience required.
You must be dependable, with transportation to and from the Sacramento yard. You must be ready to show up on time every week with no bullshit call offs. We don't have time for flakes. You must be willing to adhere to all FedEx and company policies.

Your truck is a 12 speed automatic 2024 Freightliner with a DD15 engine, refrigerator, microwave, and power inverter. We have a Ryder maintenance program so our fleet stays maintained. If there is a breakdown on the highway, road service is just a call away. If the truck can’t be repaired then a subunit will be brought out to you, minimizing down time.
