We are currently hiring local CDL tanker drivers in several cities, including Chico, Oroville, Arbuckle Williams, Yuba City, Vacaville, Dixon, and Winters. As a driver for Button Transportation, you will deliver liquid and dry fertilizer products to farms during the planting season. This is a seasonal position that runs from mid-March to June 2024.
Qualifications for this role include a Class A CDL, the ability to drive a 10-speed manual transmission, and endorsements for tanker, hazmat, and doubles. You must also be at least 21, have a good driving record, and be legally eligible to work in the United States. While new drivers are welcome, we prefer to hire within a 50-mile radius of one of the cities listed above.
Compensation for this position includes weekly pay, with seasonal drivers averaging between $1000 and $1800 per week. Benefits, such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, begin after 60 days. We also offer a 401K program and opportunities for advancement within the company.
As a driver for Button Transportation, you'll enjoy reliable home time every night, and typical work is sun-up to sun-down. You'll deliver products to retail stores and fields, with no touch freight. We encourage our drivers to work 5-6 days a week
