Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a flatbed truck for the transportation of a variety of loads.
Secure and load/unload cargo using chains, straps, and tarps.
Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
Accurately complete logs, shipping paperwork, and other required documentation.
Follow all DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
Demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Maintain professional conduct and appearance.
The minimum requirements are as follows:
Class A CDL license with clean driving record
Minimum 1 year of experience driving flatbed trucks.
Proven experience with tarping and securing loads.
Ability to safely and efficiently load, unload, and secure freight.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and DOT regulations.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills and customer service.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
