We are a local trucking company looking to hire a dependable Fleet Mechanic to work on semi trucks and dry van trailers. This is a full-time position at our shop. We are a small fleet, so the work environment is steady, consistent, and not chaotic.
Duties include:
Tire repairs and tire replacements
Brake jobs (truck & trailer)
Oil changes and preventative maintenance services
Replacing batteries, lights, belts, hoses, etc.
Minor repairs and adjustments as needed
Completing work logs and keeping shop organized
We work on:
Freightliner Cascadias and similar road tractors
Dry van utility/Hyundai trailers
What We Are Looking For:
Mechanic experience preferred (diesel, trailer, or automotive)
Must be reliable and able to show up on time
Must be able to work independently without being micro-managed
Basic tools are helpful (we also supply tools & shop equipment)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks
