About Us:
Side Out Coffee is a fast-growing, pickleball-inspired craft coffee roastery based in El Dorado Hills, CA. Founded by active touring tournament players, we’re on a mission to deliver specialty-grade coffee and a unique lifestyle experience for pickleball enthusiasts and coffee lovers alike. Through our mobile coffee shop, Side Out Cafe, and our growing online presence at sideoutcoffee.com, we offer top-notch coffee beans, apparel, and a subscription-based coffee club. We have a commercial roasting facility in Bend, Oregon and a local roasting / warehouse / event space in EDH.

The Role: Social Media Manager + Videographer
We’re seeking a motivated, savvy, and creative individual to join our team that is motivated to take ownership of multiple efforts within the company and wear multiple hats. Even if you don't have a ton of experience, this role is suitable for someone eager to learn a wide range of skills and dive headfirst into all stages of the startup lifecycle. You’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the future of a business that sits at the exciting intersection of two rapidly growing industries: coffee and pickleball.
What You’ll Learn & Do
Master Digital Media: Gain proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and more. We will teach you these skills if needed and also show you how to record high quality shorts for Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook etc and how to edit this footage in Premiere Pro. You will also help with live production for our up and coming Pickleball podcast in our warehouse.
E-Commerce Skills: Learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to manage and optimize the e-commerce side of our business. We will teach you how to become highly proficient in the Shopify Suite and you will learn tons of different skills regarding SEO, CPC campaigns, content creation and more.
Marketing & Branding: Assist in crafting and executing digital media campaigns, building brand awareness, and connecting with our vibrant community.
Startup Operations: Get hands-on experience in all aspects of a startup, from logistics to customer engagement, product launches, and growth strategy.
Event Catering: A big part of our business is event catering and this year we are partnering with local Pickleball facilities to cater their tournaments and mixers. We also cater weddings, birthday parties, corporate events and more. Ideally you should be ready willing and able to help with these events.
