Description If you love Human Resources and you're looking for an engaging, new Generalist opportunity, Robert Half has the opportunity for you as a Human Resources Generalist. In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including managing employee relations, recruiting, conducting new hire orientation, and updating the employee handbook.What you get to do every single day
Create official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters
Engage with other teams, including with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors
Employee relations, including engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations
Evaluate employee performance, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)
Work with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees
Manage digital and physical files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews
Develop employee engagement plans, including budget approvals and management oversite
Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department
Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations
Develop a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections
Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures
Design templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook Requirements
Fluency in Spanish / English REQUIRED
-Agriculture industry experience a plus -Knowledge of PeopleSoft software a plus
Strong knowledge of local, state and federal laws
Prior experience or knowledge managing Open Enrollment is a plus
Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
Prior full cycle recruiting experience
Excellent written and verbal business skills
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
Skilled in technology applications and software, as well as social media platforms
The ideal hire for this role is highly professional; able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
