Finance Coordinator

Well established and reputable community based restoration and remodeling contractor, with nearly 30 years of experience, looking to hire a full-time Finance Coordinator to join our team.

We are looking for a financially savvy, organized, and highly motivated individual to oversee project financials Including accounts receivable, client billing, contracts, and insurance-related financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage change orders, work authorizations/draw schedules, and progressive payment tracking, credits

Collaborate with the Director of Operations to assign jobs and review financials

Handle accounts receivable and collections

Communicate with clients, adjusters, TPAs, and mortgage companies

Issue resolution to collect money

Final job reconciliation and close-out

Conduct audits and ensure compliance with TPA and insurance program guidelines

Track Supplement submittal and approval with adjusters/carriers

Track, verify and implement payment demands and liens as needed

Able to meet in person to collect payments

In office position – San Diego, 92109

Light administrative duties to include assisting with phone coverage, scanning, filing, shredding of documents.

Qualifications:

Experience in financial management (preferably in construction/restoration)

Proficient in QuickBooks, Xactimate, DASH, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite

Strong organizational and communication skills

Strong Collection skills

Knowledge of TPA/insurance processes and mortgage company workflows

Bachelor's in finance/accounting or 10+ years experience preferred

Maintain yearly background screening compliance which includes no misdemeanor or felonies for previous

8 years, Random Drug & Alcohol screening, and abide by all program regulations.
