Full Charge Bookkeeper in El Cajon
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience with QuickBooks and a proven ability to handle full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, transaction recording, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Prior experience in a CPA firm is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain all aspects of the general ledger.
Perform data entry and accurately record financial transactions.
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings as needed.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop).
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
Experience preparing financial statements.
CPA firm experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
