Full Charge Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer

Our Tax and Accounting office in San Diego is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Bookkeeper job duties include but are not limited to:
Full Charge Bookkeeping from Bank Reconciliation to Financial Statements
Fully versed in Quickbooks Accountants Desktop Plus and Online
QBOA is required and the individual must have prior experience
Minimum 5 year of full charge bookkeeping experience working in an accounting office or firm
Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook are required
MUST have organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to communicate with clients via phone, email and in person
Preparation of Quarterly/Annual Sales Tax Returns
Preparation of Quarterly Financial statements
Preparation of Form 571
Preparation of 1099’s/1096’s
Tax Preparer job duties include but are not limited to:
Minimum 5 year tax prep experience working in an accounting/tax office or firm
Complete tax prep for Individual and Business. Corp’s & Partnership is a plus
Knowledge of Lacerte Tax software is ideal
Organize client’s income tax documents and set up tax files
Must have strong research skills and be resourceful
Ability to work in a team and learn quickly
Ability to multitask, be flexible, to work efficiently and deliver under tight deadlines in a calm manner
Available to work certain weekends during tax season (Feb – April & Sept – Oct)
Desire and ability to grow with the position
