Part-Time Bookkeeper Wanted
We are seeking an exceptionally detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper for a part-time role on our accounting team. This position requires excellent QuickBooks skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books by recording transactions, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and managing accounts receivable/payable
Prepare financial reports, statements, and supporting documentation on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
Coordinate with clients regarding accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial inquiries with professionalism and poise
Assist with additional accounting tasks and special projects as needed
Contribute to process improvements for greater efficiency across the accounting function
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably with 3+ years in a professional services firm or accounting setting
Expert-level skills in QuickBooks and Excel; experience with accounting software/ERP systems
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Outstanding attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with a collaborative team player attitude
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
