San Diego County Earthwork and Demolition Contractor seeking an experienced Estimator/Project Manager to handle projects from bid process through completion of project.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue bid opportunities through client relationships and various channels
Conduct site visits and assess project requirements
Review plans, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and compliance
Develop estimates using estimating software and prepare bid packages
Present pricing recommendations and revise bids as needed
Coordinate pre-construction meetings and distribute plans
Ensure contract compliance and quality control
Manage project budgets, schedules, and billing
Obtain change order approvals and maintain profitability
Communicate with owners and contractors to ensure timely, safe completion
Requirements
2+ years construction estimating/project management experience
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Proficient reading plans, specifications, and technical documents
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, PDF, and CAD
Valid CA driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening
